Happy Birthday Mom!
I’m sorry I couldn’t send you your present on time; the 2 feet of snow in the past 24 hours was quite unforeseen. So today instead of going to work, I called in and gave myself a snow day in order to shovel the driveway and get my car unstuck. Now that it’s dark, I’ll be making chilli and corn bread for dinner because I’m still not warmed up yet and it’s just that kind of day. I love you Mom, please call me back. Happy birthday.
